ChaCha’s mobile Advertising appealed to Seattle-based ad agency, Creature, as an innovative addition to a larger, integrated ad campaign. ChaCha’s interactive and targeted marketing on mobile devices was an ideal way to reach busy consumers during the Holiday shopping season within their Palm “Santa’s Gone Centro” campaign.

The Goal: Create awareness of the Palm “Santa’s Gone Centro” Holiday advertising campaign, drive customers to text their wish to ChaCha’s short code and enter Palm’s Holiday Wish Sweepstakes and increase sales for the Palm Centro Smartphone during the Holiday shopping season.

The Solution: To deliver millions of Palm Centro branded SMS advertisements promoting the Holiday Wish Sweepstakes and encourage users to buy the Palm Centro Smartphone during the holiday season.

The Results: Palm Wish Sweepstakes entries received in excess of 35,000, ChaCha helped measurably drive the sale of Palm Centro Smartphones during the Holiday sales season. Surveyed respondents told us: 3.7% purchased a Palm Centro as a result of the campaign, 10% had a Palm Centro already and 40% wanted to purchase a Palm Centro.
